JANICE LATORRE

Barefoot Retreats was Michael’s idea and my dream.   I share many of the same beliefs and passions as Michael, as you will discover reading the web site pages we created for you.  I feel tremendously blessed being able to share and enjoy this sacred place with you after having spent time on this magical island. 

I began my education earning a degree in Business Administration – Marketing with a minor in Accounting and Psychology.  I worked in a major corporation in my first career and then enhanced my life tremendously by venturing into a totally new world of work after completing my Masters. In my new life, I have been working with individuals, couples, families and groups as a Guidance Counselor, Behavioral Manager, Career Counselor and Family Counselor.  I am bilingual (Spanish) and have also had the privilege of teaching ESOL (English as a Second Language) in the adult setting.  I will offer the details of my educational background and work experiences upon request.
