MICHAEL FAULKNER

Hello my name is Michael and I will be one of your hosts while you are at Barefoot. It is a joy and blessing to be able to offer Barefoot Retreats to you.

Now into my 6th decade in life, I have decided to slow down and enjoy more of what life offers. With over 30 years of work experience in mental health care and small business, I now have the opportunity to combine my passions into Barefoot Retreats.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have served as an adjunct professor at four different colleges.  My clinical experience across the continuum of health care has given me the opportunity to present at local, state and national conferences as well as to participate on many community service boards.  I enjoy a private practice specializing in addiction, gerontology, marriage and family counseling, and physical rehabilitation.
